2月8日 Wonderful Weekend- Bon Fire Party! At the moment I am sitting next to my dying fire glazing up at the stars reflecting on what a great time I had with my friends this weekend! LOL, Daddy just tried to sneak up behind me & scare me. It didn't work even though I'm lost in my thoughts. I love the outdoors! Anyhow let me tell you about my weekend. I'll start with Saturday. I went over to Hana G's house & spent the day with her. Actually it was Hanna G, Hannah B, Allan, Amber, Harley, Bev, & I! We spent the doing all kinds of stuff. We played the PS2, drank Sundrop Slushies which Tammy bought for us, went walking, then went to the garage to shoot pool! Hana & I played a game of pool; she beat me. Today (Sunday) was an even better day! I got up this morning, washed my car, and then took Sandy for a walk. While I was walking Sandy, Dave came up to me & asked if I wanted to wash his truck. I was like heck yea, so he paid me $25 to do so. After that I went to pick up Hana, Amber, Bev, & Hannah; we all went to Wal-Mart. At Wal-Mart I returned a gift I will no longer need & then used the money to treat my friends to a wonderful time; which I succeeded at! After the 5 of us left Wal-Mart we went to pick up Amber & Harley Sullivan. LOL, all 7 of us tried to squeeze in my car which we did, but we decided it would be better if both Hana & I drove separate. Once we all got back to my house we got the fire started some more people showed up! LOL, Allan came riding over on his moped. We ate chili dogs, and just had a great time sitting outside around the fire talking & taking crazy pictures! LOL, we even made a video for YouTube. It is kind of long but you should check it out. My YouTube user name is BlakeLitaker! Well...here I am sitting outside by the fire on this kind of warm February night. I am starting to get a little cold since the fire is really small now. LOL, thanks to the fire Bob the Snow Man is now just a snow ball. I think I'll spend a few more minutes out here on this peaceful night watching the stars then I am going to take a shower. School tomorrow. Goodnight everyone! O_o Relationships! Here is to Hope!As most of you know after three months Kristina and I broke up. As far as who broke up with who that is irrelevant information although most of my friends already know. So why did we break up? Some very hurtful things were said that should have never been said. I gave that relationship everything I could, opened doors for her, told her how beautiful she looked, took her where ever she wanted to go, heck, I even carried her books for her. We just were not made for each other. After reading those very hurtful things I realized she was not the girl for me. If we were meant to be those hurtful things would have never been said. Anyhow, I’m not looking back at where we went wrong. I’m just moving on and not letting it get to me. Somewhere out there is a wonderful girl who will change my world. I will find her one day! She will be someone who is laid back, likes to have fun, not always trying to change me, or complaining about the way I express myself though blogs. I also want some who enjoys nature, and has a desire to travel the world! Carpe Diem! (She also needs to be a Christian; I strongly value my religion even though I’m not in church every Sunday.) Ladies, if you are just looking for a good time, no drama, and lots of fun hit me up. Trust me, I know how to treat a girl right, and show her a GREAT TIME! 9月28日 FBLA, Student Council, & Bible Club So far I’m a member of 3 clubs which as stated above are FBLA, student
council, & Bible club! The 1st Student council meeting last week
went very well. We discussed what the club is really about, & we
decided what committees we would like to be on. I signed up for the
committee that will help run the soup kitchen (feed the homeless), and
assist with the kids from the children’s hospital. I think this will be
very rewarding work. The FBLA meeting went great also. I ran for an
officer position, and I was elected president! LOL, I was so nervous up
there in front of everyone running the meeting for the 1st time.
Finally I will go on to tell about Bible Club. Our 1st meeting went
great; we elected our officers & everything. What I really want to
point out is the discussion we had in bible class, it was about reasons
God must exist & I found this topic very interesting. The 1st
reason was the universe couldn’t have created itself; something had to
create the planets as well as life from nothingness. The 2nd reason was
the bible says God exists & it’s a historically reliable document.
The 3rd reason comes from personal experience, many people alive today
have felt the presence of God in 1 way or another & nobody can
argue with that. The 4th reason is no design can exist without a
designer. If you put Rolex watch parts into a box and shake the box for
one-million years you aren’t going to open that box and find a working
Rolex. A designer has to put those parts together and make that Rolex
work! In my opinion this argument disproves the theory of evolution.
The 5th reason is Jesus says God exists, and he changed history! Now as
everyone should already know I am a religious man & I believe in
God, but I just thought I would point out these 5 topics to any
atheist, or agnostic friends I might have out there reading this. Sorry
if this blog is too long & I hope I didn’t bore you!! 9月15日 High School is back in Session…4 the last time ever!! Yup, its official I’m a senior & have been for almost a month now! I’ve had my last summer vacation (for high school) and it was great! I’ve had a pretty good 3 weeks of school, it wasn’t easy readjusting having to wake up at 6 a.m. but the 6 cups of coffee I drink every morning helps! My classes this semester are Algebra 2, Marine Biology, E-Commerce 2, & Bible 1…but by now everyone should know that anyhow. This is going to a very academically involved year for me, more so than any other year that is. I say this because I am in so many clubs. I am in FBLA (was elected an officer -president- last week), in student council, and even Bible club. Well I’m officially not in Bible club until our 1st meeting tomorrow. Well now that everyone is caught up with my academics I’ll go on to tell about everything else. Let’s see…I’ve seen 3 good movies lately- 1 a weekend. They are Disaster Movie, House Bunnie, and Babylon A.D. I think House Bunnie was the best! I’ve been going to the games too. We horribly lost the South vs. Brown game. LOL, they had to call an Ambulance; I had fun flirting with girls @ Brown though. We won the game last Friday!! It was a home game, our 1st win this year. Oh yea, another thing I’ve been doing lately is like every Friday or Saturday I have some friends over, we make pizza & watch a movie. It will be even more fun now…because; Saturday I got a 32 inch LCD HD TV mounted on my bedroom wall! I love it! Sunday was homecoming at my church! There was some GREAT food and a good service too. I went with Mama Mildred & Malana. I’ll tell you 1 thing, homecoming at Central just wasn’t the same without momma. Well that is about it, guess I’ll wrap it up now. Hope you enjoyed my blog! 8月22日 Isle of Palms – Charleston (August 20, 2008)I had a fun trip to Isle of Palms! The beach was great…the water temperature was almost perfect! We even stayed ocean front (kind of). The condo we stayed in was a street behind the beach…but only a 2 min walk. We spent most of our time on the beach, and it rained very little. I found a crab on the beach…I just thought that was so cool. It was a giant crab too. I just walked around the beach for like an hour using the dying-dead crab as a conversation starter with pretty girls. It worked too! Then we went to Ben & Jerry's & I took the crab with me. I used it to flirt with the girl that worked there. I told her I would trade the crab for a refill…she laughed then we talked till more customers came. Today before going home we stopped at Charleston and shopped for a couple hours. Shockingly I didn't buy anything in the market, but I bought a few things in the shops surrounding it. One thing I bought was a Rock Lamp (really cool), and of course I bought a large dream catcher like I've been wanting! Well that's about it…now we are on our way home. School starts back next week! No more vacations until Labor Day. So sad!
Only If Time Travel Was Possible! (August 16, 2008)Only if time travel was possible what would I do?? Well the 1st thing I would do is set the clocks back to that wonderful time period in the summer of 2006 when my mother was still alive and well, and it was right around my 15th birthday. You know when I'm talking about…the vacation to Maui! I would first give my mom a great big hug, tell her how much I love her…you know things that teenagers never really do, and now I wish I had more often. Once that was all done, only if time travel was possible…I would meet all my long gone ancestors, I would see the Roman Empire of 1000 years ago and witness the birth of Christ, I would discover the mythical city of Atlantis, and I would see the Egyptians building the Great Pyramids. I would do all that and in the past, and even more only if time travel was possible! Also I would witness the rise and fall of ancient civilizations, pet a baby dinosaur, help Louis & Clark cross the continent; it would be such a blast only if time travel was possible! Once I had all my fun in the past I would set the clocks forward and party like a rock star…in the future! I would bring back the cure to all diseases (especially ALS & cancer), as well as all futuristic scientific knowledge to our time zone. I would do all this and more, only if time travel was possible!
My Heaven on Earth!! (August 16, 2008)Since I haven't see heaven yet with my own eyes I can't really write about it, but I sure can write about my ideal Heaven on earth! But what is my heaven on earth? My heaven on earth is a magnetic place, a beautiful place, a place where there is no disease, no broken homes, no gangs, no violence, no murders, no evil corporations, no crooked politicians, which make promises they can't keep, and certainly no racism, only good honest people! It would be a place where the untold secrets of the world whisper through the breeze rustling the palm trees. A place of untold beauty…like the beaches and beauty of Maui collided with natural wonders of Yellowstone. It would be a place that doesn't follow the rules of survival of the fittest, or every man for himself. Those concepts would be non-existent. Wars would also be a thing of the past. Everyone would live together in peace and harmony. Everyone would enjoy waking in the morning because they would know another magnificent day in paradise is ahead of them. That my dear friends it MY Heaven on Earth! Summer After Yellowstone (August 16, 2008)Once I got home from my vacation to Yellowstone I still had a lot of excitement ahead of me. One of the 1st things I did after I got home was go hang out with my friends. After all I hadn't seen them for 2 weeks. Went over to Hannah's house of course…several times actually, the first time I went over there Cody was there too. Then later on last week he went to Florida…so it was just me, Hannah, Monkey, & Amber! (Allan wasn't really around.) LOL, we all took a shower together and took some really cool pictures! Thursday something WAY out of the ordinary happened…Hannah came over to my house. She NEVER comes over, idk why though. It was me, Hannah, Monkey, Malana, and Amber….but I bet you'll never guess what we did?? We played in the road and talked to strangers at the same time! Well actually we walked the dog to the river…but when I say played in the road it sounds more exciting. Then Friday I went to movies then the mall with Maddie & Michelle!! We saw The Mummy; it was a really good movie too. Oh yea, we seen Jennifer, Mat, and Mike at the mall once the movie was over. We all hung out for a few hours so that was fun! Now…here I am sitting in the truck on the way to the beach! We are going to Charleston again! Can't wait to get there…be back Tuesday! Oh yea…check out the other 2 new blogs of mine. They are called "Only If Time Travel Was Possible", and "My Heaven on Earth"!
Yellowstone Park 3 - Gone from Yellowstone (August 3, 2008)After we left Yellowstone, we went to Grand Teton National Park! Grand Teton was fun; we walked several trails...& stayed in a cabin! After we checked in & unloaded our stuff we ate supper at the Chuck Wagon. LOL, they didn't serve Chuck wagon either...it was a "High Class" restraint. There was a large lake at Grand Teton (like Yellowstone) with a swimming area, only there wasn't any sand. It was all rock. It had waves like the ocean though! Another thing we did at Grand Teton was go to the Camp Fire-side Chat @ the Amphitheater! After all that we were so exhausted we went back to the cabin & crashed. It gets really cold in those cabins at night too; we had to turn the heat on. The next day was pretty much just driving from Grand Teton to Idaho Falls. There wasn't very much excitement at Idaho Falls, it’s just a big city. After we left Idaho Falls guess where we went?? A Potato Museum!! Our next destination was Lava Hot Springs! I got to swim in a hot spring!! There was also an Olympic swimming pool there! The hottest hot spring was like 112 degrees, so I didn’t stay in that 1 long! Upon leaving Lava Hot Springs...it was back to Salt Lake City (b/c that is where the plane left from). We did a lot of shopping at Salt Lake. I got several new things from Hollister and Abercrombie & Finch, so I was excited about that! Well that is the last 4 days of my trip for you!! I'll be home Saturday night at around 11 p.m.
Yellowstone Part 2 (July 29, 2008)When I left off on my other blog I said we were headed to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone…and it was great! It was an assume view, and a massive canyon. We also went to Mammoth Hot Spring in North Yellowstone…and it was pretty nice. Not as amazing as Old Faithful though. I think Morning Glory was the prettiest Hot Spring I seen. Our next destination was then Yellowstone Lake! It was a massive lake at 7733ft above sea level, and 430ft deep at its deepest point. It even had a sandy beach and waves like the ocean. It was way too cold to get into though. After the lake we went to the West Thumb Geyser Basin, by this point it was like 9:00 at night…so as we were there were bugs everywhere. It was really pretty, because we got to see the sunset over the basin, but there were bugs everywhere probably by the millions!! Don’t believe me about the bugs, watch my video! Well that is it for Yellowstone National Park; we are now on our way to Grand Teton National Park!! (Grand Teton is the park to the south of Yellowstone. It is also in Wyoming.) My 17th B-day (July 27, 2008)I had a really good birthday this year...I spent it on vacation in Yellowstone! It started out with me sleeping in late. Then I was woken up to a "Happy Birthday" and we went on to Subway, then to Yellowstone. We walked several trails, enjoyed nature, seen some wild animals...then went back into town. We ate supper at DQ! My idea! I love their Chili Cheese Dogs, & Blizzards! After we ate, we shopped 4 several hours...then get this; we watched the Yellowstone show at the Imax Theater! The show was really good! After all that...it was time for bed! LOL, I was exhausted. I had a really good b-day! The only thing it was missing was my friends, family, (of course my mom), and a cake! I don't get my cake until we get back home because there isn't anywhere around here to buy 1. LOL, the closest Wal-Mart is like 100 miles!
Yellowstone Part 1 (July 25, 2008)Our plane landed in Salt Lake at 10 a.m. (early flight). Then we stayed in Salt Lake City Saturday & Sunday before driving to Yellowstone. Salt lake was nice; we went to an Imax theater & went to the Salt Lake park. The real fun didn't start until Tuesday...that was out 1st actual day in Yellowstone! We went to Old Faithful first thing (after stopping at several hot springs along side the road). Old Faithful is my favorite thing so far, it goes off every 90 min. The park is HUGE and there is hot springs and wild life everywhere. Yesterday we were driving down the road and there was a Bison walking down the other lane. We also got to go to a petting zoo and play with baby Deer!! This place is great...I can't wait to see the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, that's where we are going today!! Well now everyone is up to date with my trip. I'll be writing a Yellowstone Part 2 later this week! Don't forget my 17th b-day is today…what u getting me?? LOL!
Hey everyone...my b-day is 2morrow!! (July 24, 2008)I just thought I would let everyone I'm having a great time at Yellowstone...and tomorrow (the 25th) is my b-day!! I'm sure everyone already knew that...if u didn't shame, shame, shame on you :-p...but I just though I would remind everyone! I'll be 17!! So, what is everyone getting me?? Anyhow I'm having fun at Yellowstone, it is sooo nice here...today is my 3rd day at Yellowstone. So, how is everyone doing at home?? Is everyone having a good summer? Write back! I can't wait to hear from everyone (don't forget to wish me happy b-day...if u do forget I'll be SAD). -Blake Litaker :-) All A’s…that’s what’s new with me!! (July 11, 2008)Wow, I have so much to tell everyone! For one I did it, I finally got straight A’s!! I sure worked for it…I’ll always remember how I would stay after school for like 3 hours getting tutoring because I couldn’t understand that aggravating Geometry. LOL, I think I showed up at least 2 day a week! It was so worth it though. Like I ripped that report card open and I was sooo excited! Also guess what? Yesterday was my sister’s birthday! I took her to Concord Mills and then her party is tomorrow. Don’t forget…my birthday is coming up too (July 25th). I’ll be 17. Next Tuesday I’m starting my community service. I have to get 15 hours to graduate but I think I’ll go over that. I’m volunteering at Plaster Creations, it is a fun place where kids can come in for birthdays or whatever and create art. I’ll help the kids and show them what colors of paint to mix and everything (once I learn myself). I think that should be a fun learning experience. Oh yea…I leave for Yellowstone National Park the 19th!! I can’t wait!
3-day stay in St. Augustine, FL (June 29, 2008)Once we got off the cruise ship we headed right to St. Augustine and checked into Day's Inn. From there we walked down on the beach. From the beach we went out to eat at Carrabbas! After Carrabbas we went site seeing in the historic part of town then headed back to our hotel so we could go swimming! Friday we spent most of our day chilling on the beach! The water at the beach was kind of cold (nicer than Myrtle Beach though). After we left the beach we went swimming, and then ate at the Olive Garden! LOL, 2nd fancy Italian place this week!! I love Italian food. After we ate we went to Wal-Mart, and bought a new camcorder!! It is really nice b/c it records in HD! Saturday we woke up, and headed to the light house. The lighthouse was nice; we went all the way to the top. After that we went to the fountain of youth! I actually drank from it!! I also messed with some Peacocks! LOL, they really didn't like me. That is about it for my 3-day stay in St. Augustine. We are in the car on our way home now but we won't get home till like 12 a.m. Sunday.
Cruise to the Bahamas!! (June 27, 2008)Wow, I just don't know where to begin...there was so much action packed into my cruise! We boarded the Sensation Sunday at Port Canaveral. Then once we got on the ship we pretty much just walked around meeting people. That night at dinner I met Ashley, then later on that night I met Chantelle at the teen club. They are the 2 girls I pretty much hung out with the whole time. Monday we docked at Freeport! The beach there was pretty nice, and there was a lot of shopping!! Tuesday we docked at Nassau (the capital) and the ship didn't leave till 6 a.m. the next morning. Anyhow, Nassau was really nice...there were shops and markets right as u get off the ship! You had to catch a taxi to the beach but it was NICE!! Actually we went to the Atlantis Resort, and went out on the beach from there. The Atlantis Resort was unbelievable! They had the world's largest indoor aquarium. Words can't describe that place, or the cruise...u will just have to watch the video. Oh yea, my last full day (Wednesday) was great too! I spent the whole day lying around the ship flirting with girls, eating, and swimming! Actually I had a great time with Chantelle...I guess u could call it a short relationship b/c unfortunately we live in different countries. I also had fun with Ashley, but we were just friends (unlike my & Chantelle). Thursday morning was a sad day; we had to leave the ship. We got up and got off the ship around 10. Well that is about it...watch my videos, and check out the picks!! I get 2 see the space shuttle take off 4 the sun!! (June 22, 2008)LOL, everyone there is no space shuttle Challenger taking off for the sun today while I am boarding the cruise ship!! First of all the Challenger blew up several years ago…plus you can’t get to the sun in 72 hours! I just messaged that to everyone as a joke…got ya! My dad started that joke when we pulled it on my grandma and had her believing the Challenger was taking off for the Sun at 3:30 p.m. today! We had grandma thinking the astronauts would be safe as long as they got to the sun at dusk…and left at sun rise!! If daddy hadn’t told her it was a joke I was gonna have her call daddy’s bother and remind her about it taking off today! LOL, he would’ve though she was crazy! After we told her it was a joke she said she would have went outside and looked to see if she could see it taking off! It was all I could do to not crack up on the phone! Since she fell for it I JUST had to play it on my friends!! Gosh, I can’t believe so many of ya’ll fell for it!! I can’t quit laughing right now!! Talk about a bunch of blonds!! J/k. Well I board the ship today at 4! Talk to everyone later!
In Florida…cruise 2 Bahamas leaves 2-morrow!! (June 22, 2008)I just got to Florida at like 7:00 p.m. today! The weather is great…and so far the trip has been great! Since we got here we have ate at Checkers, then we went to an arcade… and drove the go-carts! LOL, Daddy's go-cart kept cutting off so he got to go for a free round (but I didn't…I had to watch him drive). Once we got done driving the go-carts we played like 10 games of air hockey! I beat both Daddy and Malana like several times! Oh yea, I drove across the entire state of Georgia! Wait, let me back up to the beginning…we ate lunch with Tobby in Charleston at some steakhouse…then once we left and reached the northern border of Georgia I took over and drove all the way though the state!! I was on I-95 the whole way though (no detours), so I didn't really see anything. I can't wait to get on the cruise ship tomorrow!! The cruise to the Bahamas leaves tomorrow at 4 p.m. then returns Thursday. The cell isn't gonna work on the ship, so don't bother calling! That is about it now…can't wait till tomorrow!!
Starting off a great summer! (June 16, 2008)My summer vacation is going great so far! The first real party I went to this summer was Michelle’s all-day cookout! That was a fun day; we mostly just laid around the house watching movies, played on the trampoline, and ate!! Oh yea, can’t forget the horseshoe games! Then Friday me & like everyone else went and watched Transformers in the park! Transformers is a wicked movie…that guy had 1 COOL car! The rest of my week has been a blast so far too…I’ve enjoyed hanging with Hannah & Allan, Cody, Annie, Amber, and everyone else too! Oh yea, I’m currently single as of 6-15, but I’m sure I’ll find someone to change that soon. Of course I’m fine just hanging out with all my friends! LOL, I can’t wait to flirt with some pretty girls wearing string bikinis in the Caribbean (with the clear water & white sand beaches)! Oh yea, I went to see “Kung Fu Panda” last night with a bunch of friends at the Gem Theater…and that is a great movie! At 1st I thought it was gonna be a kid movie, but it isn’t…it was really funny! Well, that is about it for now! Be on the lookout for my next blog, I’ll tell everyone how my cruise to the Bahamas went!
Exam Week :-O (June 8, 2008)So far I'm doing really well on my exams! My 1st exam was geometry. It took me 4 & 1/2 hours to take it b/c it was so hard, but I made a 93 on it! Then, my 2nd exam was history...I made a 91on it! My 3rd exam was E-Commerce, I got a 96 on it, and 96 was my final grade in the class! The great thing is E-Commerce is an honor class so it's double weighted! My final exam (which I take tomorrow) is POB. I'm almost certain I'll make an A in there so that's great! I am very happy with my grades this semester, can't wait till report cards come home. :-)
